Find out first if the recipient likes to receive gifts as an artwork, and whether it has room for it in their own home or office.
1 Are antique photographs framed in a historical style finish. This can be tricky if you do not have ready access to a person or family photos, favorite photos. 3 Present a special drawing in chalk, pencil, ink, or pencils that you have made or who made pro in memory of two special event you attended. For example, if you had a caricature drawn to the carnival last summer, you might want to have one framed in a fitting design and give it to someone you have not seen in awhile, like your sister, who lives on the other side of the country. If you keep one's children and have permission to take them out, have their pictures done in a medium other than photography. 4 Buy an old-fashioned picture at a garage sale or thrift store and replace worn box with a newer, but an appropriate one. Look for topics that will interest your recipient, whether drawn from the landscape, people or places. Bear in mind one or two possible sites for a picture to your friend or relative's house.
Artwork is a fun and decorative to hang around the house. Some people prefer their own. But if you know people who do not mind accepting the selection, give some thought to ideas like these to offer them something a little different.
