We are a military family and moved from base to base every three years or so. There are many advantages to having a military career, one of which is low-cost housing. down side is that the house can never really feel like your home because you are not completely resolved with any degree of permanence. Another down side is that these houses are usually small, with less than you need to bathrooms and kitchens to inadequate storage.
Over the years I have developed some tricks to ease the challenges of living in military family housing.
Although nothing can reduce the need for a second bathroom if what you really need is an extra toilet and sink, if the question refers mainly to storage space and shelf above the toilet can help provide some extra space for storage of medicines or toiletries. .When kitchen storage is a problem, it can interfere with your ability to cook well. It definitely can suck the fun out of cooking. I've turned the old baker's rack to provide extra storage for pots and pans. After polishing the pieces salvaged from consignment shops, baker's racks are a great way to bring some much needed character to the kitchen and give it a more homemade feel. Although the kitchen offers storage is not clearly within the government, it really works well for pots, pans and baking trays of all kinds.
